Elyse compton - executive assistant to the president

Elyse earned her Bachelor of Art’s at the University of Denver in Criminology, where she wrote her senior thesis on Japanese American internment in World War II and its impact on collective memory and trauma. In 2021, she moved to Washington, D.C. to work in politics. She worked as a nanny for a year and a half before working as the first intern for Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo (CO08).

Elyse was born in Australia and moved to the US when she was 13, and she is lucky enough to consider Massachusetts her home. She loves reading, traveling, taking yoga classes, and exploring all the wonderful events that D.C. has to offer. She has a dog named Arlo.
