A Few Things on Our Mind

WELCOME MICHAEL

We are excited to welcome Michael Kennedy to our team! Michael joined us earlier this month as our summer intern. He is a rising Junior at Wake Forest University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics & International Affairs.

A graduate of Gonazga College High School and native to Kensington, MD, Michael is no stranger to the DMV area. An avid sports fan, Michael enjoys going to Washington Nationals games and cheering on the New York Giants in his free time.

If you see him around, please do not hesitate to give him a friendly welcome!

How to help our friends

Matt Thackston, a MAA alum and close friend, is raising support to fight against Alzheimer’s. Two years ago, his mother received her diagnosis, and Matt has been a first-hand witness to the negative impact this disease has on family and friends. Matt is hoping to raise money to help future generations.

As part of his fundraising efforts, he will be holding a cookout on June 18th. Please contact him at Matthew.thackston@gmail.com if you would like to join.

We hope you will consider making a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
