Juneteenth

This upcoming Sunday also marks Juneteenth. We would like to highlight a few different ways to celebrate Black history this weekend.

The Kennedy Center is hosting a fantastic program this week, with dynamic performances by the Dance Theatre of Harlem, the Ballethnic Dance Company and Collage Dance Collective. If you are interested, you can purchase tickets here.

From June 18-20, the National Archives will display the original Emancipation Proclamation and General Order No. 3. The Archives will be open from 10:00am - 7:00pm, and admission is free.
